Another Year, Over!
Another year of Pink Panthers Field Hockey has come to a close.
What a wonderful year it has been! We have had our ups and downs but at the end I firmly believe we came out as a better club.
The season started with a bang as our Women's team competed at the Vancouver International Tournament! The ladies put themselves on the map and had the Vancouver and Interior teams taking notice. All the games were hard fought and they were rewarded for their efforts. In true Pink Panthers form, we did not have enough "senior" players and we added a few U16s. They rose to the challenge and proved age and experience means nothing when you love the game. They grew immensely and keep us grounded. For all our efforts, a bronze medal was won! Very exciting and well deserved!
Our U16s had their club championships cancelled, so I opted to put them into the U18 Tier 2 Club Championships so they would have a tournament this year. The ladies shared their turf time with a group of U18 athletes, and overall the team was exceptional. The games were lopsided but you could see the growth happening with game sense, maturity and decision making on the field. The U16s rose to the challenge and grew into better field hockey players because of their patience and never give up attitude. With the experience of the U18s and the excitement of the U16s, we persevered. In the bronze medal match, we overcame Team BC White to win the second bronze medal of the season! Well done ladies, we are all very proud of you!

Updates!
An amazing weekend for Chilliwack Pink Panthers has just passed. Our senior women's team made a return to the Vancouver International Tournament, and it was a memorable one.
6 games were played over 3 days with great intensity and strong competition. We finished ranked 1st in our pool play and made it to the championship side of the tournament. We wrapped the weekend with a 4 - 1 - 1 record and achieving every goal we set out for ourselves as a team.
Our hard work and dedication paid off! We won the bronze medal in a repeat match -up with the Meralomas, winning 4 - 1!
A great weekend was had by all! Congratulations to all the members of the Pink Panthers Women's team!
Thank you also to our wonderful fan base, parents, drivers, and all our other supporters, we appreciate it!
